You shall keep Saturday holy if you are Jewish and  the first day of the week holy if you are a Christian

 

Hold on to your seat. Believe it or not, the weekly Sabbath is not Saturday or SUNday! Another big, big whopper of a Lie that the devil has told us...

 

Stop and think about it... Who would not want us to keep our Creator's Sabbath Day? The original Slick Willy, that's who... the one who was in the Garden of Eden and deceived Eve.

 

When I started going to House of Joseph Ministries in Aug, 2,012, I was so excited because I was keeping the correct Sabbath day which according to the Gregorian calendar is Saturday. I finally had it right, because Saturday is the seventh day of the week, right? Yes, but which calendar did our Creator use?

 

Then, Chuck started teaching that Saturday is not the correct Sabbath day. My mind went on brain freeze with that. Here, I finally have it right and he says that it is not the correct Sabbath day. I could not understand until his wife Diane explained it to me. Sometimes, I still get confused.

 

She said that if the seventh day is the Sabbath, then you counted 7 days to the 14th of the month, then the 21st and 28th. Then she said to look at my calendar for each month and see how many times the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th day of the month falls on a Saturday.

 

I did a study of previous calendars until this year and found that the  7th, 14th, 21st and 28th day of the month falls on a Saturday only 1 - 3 times throughout the year.

 

Below are the # of times, the 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th falls on a Saturday.

2010 ~ 1 time

2011 ~ 1 time

2012 ~ 3 times

2013 ~ 2 times

2014 - 1 time

2015 - 3 times

 

Diane said that if Saturday was the true Sabbath day, the  7th, 14th, 21st and 28th day of the month would ALWAYS fall on every Saturday of the year, which is 52 Saturdays of the year. She also said, "Stop and think about it. Did the Israelites have a Gregorian calendar hanging on their tent walls? No."

 

So how does YHVH tell time according to His calendar, and how did the Israelites know what day it was?

 

By the Light of the Moon! Another thought is, did YHVH hang a Gregorian calendar on a star to create the calendar, or did Adam and Eve have a Gregorian calendar hanging from a tree branch? No. Let's look at some Scriptures. Remember, YHVH's day always starts at sunset and ends the next sunset. It is not like the Gregorian calendar that starts at midnight.

 

Genesis 1:8

And Elohim called the firmament heavens. And the evening and the morning were Day one. {and so forth.}

 

Notice He didn't say the "Day and the Evening" were day one.

 

So, which day did our Creator rest on? Saturday, or SUNday the first day of the week in the Gregorian calendar? NO! The Gregorian calendar was not even in existence at the time of the creation.

 

How did our Creator know when the Sabbath day was?

 

Genesis 2:2

And on the sixth day Elohim ended His work that He had made; and He rested on the seventh day that YHVH Elohim created and made.

 

Hmmm.... that verse still does not say how Adam & Eve would know when the Seventh day or Sabbath Day was.... Let's look at another verse.

 

Psalm 104:19

He created the moon for moadim... {The Appointed Times or Eternal Feasts of YHVH - plural}.

 

WOW! I never paid attention to the moon until I learned that how our Creator keeps time... is by the moon. That is His calendar.

 

Man never wants to do it YHVH's ways... So the calendar is just another instance they listened to Slick Willy. There have been dozens of man-made calendars throughout history.... which always has to be adjusted.

 

The Jewish calendar has to be adjusted by putting a 13th month in there... YHVH's calendar NEVER has to be adjusted... If we would only do it His way, it would be so much simpler.

 

Then, the Christians keep SUNday as holy. How did that happen, when YHVH said we were to keep the 7th day as holy? How did the 1st day of the week come to be holy?

 

Back around 325 A.D. as more and more "Gentiles" came into the faith, they wanted to bring in their pagan practices. To keep his empire together, to keep the Pagans and Christians happy, Emperor Constantine did away with the detestable "Jewish" feasts, another article. He brought in pagan feasts and adopted Christian themes to them. YHVH said we are never to worship Him in this way as it is an abomination to Him. But that is another article....

 

How can we be One with our believing Jewish brethren when they keep the Torah, Sabbath, Feast days and the Christians are keeping pagan holidays? You say what days are those? That will be another article also.

 

Do a study on when and how the Gregorian calendar started.... Then of course, there was a Roman calendar, and we all know about the Mayan calendar that ended 12/21/12. So what do they do now? Start a new calendar system all over again?

 

So will you do it Yah's Way

or man's way?

 

Will you keep

His correct Sabbath Day

or a man-made Sabbath,

because you don't

want to go against the flow?
