Another Lie we have been taught, is that you want to be taken to heaven in the Pre-Tribulation rapture. Is that true? Let's see what some Scriptures say about being taken away.

 

Matthew 24:39-40

... and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

 

Who were the ones taken? The wicked sinners. When Yshua comes back, who will be taken? The wicked sinners. Who will be left on the earth? The saved righteous.

 

Most of us have been taught that the ones taken away were the saved. But according to the verses below, the wicked are taken away.

 

Matthew 22:1-14

Verse 13 states: Then the king told the attendant, "Tie him hand and foot and throw him outside into the darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

 

What happened to the man? He was thrown into darkness where there was weeping and gnashing of teeth.

 

Mt 13:24-30

verse 30 Yshua said, "... First collect the weed [tares] and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into My barn."

 

What did Yshua say would happen to the tares? They were to be tied in bundles to be burned.

 

Matthew 5:5 states: "Blessed are the meek; for they will inherit the earth."

 

Did Yshua say the meek would inherit heaven? No, they will inherit the earth.

 

Given the fact that the wicked sinners were taken away in the flood, and the tares are to be taken away to be burned in the fire, do you still want to be taken in the Pre-Tribulation rapture?
