THE ARMOR

When we were taught about the armor in Ephesians 6, we were always shown a Roman soldier with his armor on. Is that the armor that Ephesians 6 is talking about?

Would Sha'ul [Paul] have used a Roman soldier's armor to explain Ephesians 6? I doubt it. So if it wasn't a Roman soldier's armor, then what was he relating to?

Sha'ul always referred back to the Torah, just as our Messiah Yshua did. They would not refer back to something pagan, unless to show that it was pagan.

I believe the armor that Sha'ul was talking about was the High Priest's garments.

There are many web sites that show Sha'ul was describing the High Priest's garments in Ephesians 6, but they are too lengthy to go into here.

If you are interested, do a search on "Was Sha'ul referring to the High Priest's garments in Ephesians 6?"
