The prophets of today, are they true Prophets or are they false prophets? The prophets of today love to quote Matthew 10:41 that a prophet will receive a prophet's reward and Psalm 105:15 not to do a prophet any harm. Let's look at a few verses from the Scriptures.

Deuteronomy 13:1-3

If there arise among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonders come to pass, of which he spoke to you saying, "Let us go after other Elohim, which you have not known and let us serve them; you shall not listen to the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams; for YHVH your Elohim tests you to know whether you love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being.

1 Samuel 3:20

And all Israel from Dan even to Beersheba knew that Samuel was established to be a Prophet of YHVH.

Jeremiah 2:8

The Priests said not, "Where is YHVH?" And they that handle the Torah did not know Me. The shepherds also transgressed against Me, and the prophets prophesied by Ba'al, and had their walk after things that do not profit.

Some things do not profit us or do us any good.

Ezekiel 14:9

And if the prophet is deceived when he has spoken a thing, I, YHVH have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out My hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of My people Israel.

Hosea 9:7

The days of punishment have come, the days of repayment have come. Israel shall know it. The prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad for the multitude of your iniquity, the hatred is great.

Let's look to see what 1 Timothy 4:13 states: "Until I come, pay attention to reading Torah, exhortation, to teaching.

What was Timothy to pay attention to? Reading the Torah and to the teaching of Torah as Acts 15:21 states they would learn the Torah in the synagogue every Sabbath.

Praise Yah, one day we will be rid of all false prophets! Now let's look at another verse describing a true Prophet.

Deuteronomy 18:15, 18-19

YHVH your Elohim will raise up to you a Prophet from the midst of you, from your brothers, like me. To Him you shall listen... I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brothers like you, and will put My Words in His mouth; and He shall speak to them all that I shall command Him. And it shall come to pass, that whoever will not listen to My Words that He shall speak in My Name I will require it of him.

Read all of Chapter 18 dealing with the Prophet YHVH shall rise up and those who presume to speak in His Name.

Who was YHVH talking about that a Prophet would rise up like him? He was talking about Moses.

What was Moses known for? He was known for the writing of the Torah that YHVH gave to him to give to the Israelites and those who sojourned with them.

So the True Prophet was going to be like Moses in keeping the Torah of YHVH. Who was this Prophet Who kept the Torah of YHVH?

Yshua said in Matthew 5:17-19: "Think not that I am come to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I have not come to destroy, but to completely reveal it in its intended fullness. For I truly say to you "Until the current heavens and earth pass away, not one yud or one point shall by any means pass from the Torah until all is fulfilled."

Are the heavens and the earth still here? Duh, yep.

Are all things fulfilled? Nope.

Then, the Torah AND THE PROPHETS [all of it] are still here! Until heaven and earth passes away, the Torah AND THE PROPHETS will not pass away!

That is how we can tell a true Prophet is that he will keep the Torah of YHVH.

Ezekiel 22:26 reads: "Her Priests have violated My Torah and have profaned My kadosh [set-apart] things. They have put no difference between the kadosh and profane, neither have they shown any difference between the unclean and the clean and have hid their eyes from My Shabbats, and I am profaned among them.

What will a Priest or Prophet do?

Not only will he keep the Torah of YHVH, he will:

He will put a difference between the set-apart and profane

He will put a difference between the unclean and the clean. One of the clean and unclean things are the kosher food or what the Scriptures say are unclean. Will have to look up where that is, as I can't recall it right now.

He will keep His Shabbats [plural]. All the Feasts of YHVH in Leviticus 23 are His Feasts and considered a Shabbat or Sabbath wherein you do not buy, sell or do any work, but rest on that day.

By not doing these things, YHVH says He is profaned among the people.

Now we go to the prophets of today? Do they do these things? Most of them do not and would be false prophets.

There are u-tube videos on these different prophets or ministers in existence today that I am so glad I never did receive what they taught. Look up the videos on the ministers that are Freemasons and do the satanic hand sign.

Watching those makes all so much sense now. There is an apostasy that is happening.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 states: "Let no man deceive you by any means; for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, AND THAT MAN OF SIN WILL BE REVEALED, the son of perdition."

2 Timothy 4:13 states: "Now the Spirit speaks expressly that in the last days some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons; speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their conscience branded with a hot iron."

The above verses say that a falling away will happen first before the man of sin is revealed showing we will be here to see the man of sin arise and not be taken in a Pre-Tribulation rapture.

Some will depart from the faith giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons. Why? Because their conscience has been branded with a hot iron.

2 Timothy 4 tells what some of the lies are.

The things that are happening in these revival meetings are not from YHVH. One of the attributes of the Ruach is self-control which I do not see in any of these meetings.

Which meetings am I talking about? Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, Rodney Howard-Browne, the Toronto blessings revival, Jesse DuPlantes, Tony Palmer... the lists goes on and on. Those men act like they are mad just as the above verse states in Hosea.

I am thankful to Abba that He brought me out of those things.

I hope this causes you to do a deeper study on what a True Prophet is.
