LAW AND GRACE

I have been told that Grace and Law cannot co-exist with each other. Let's see if there was grace in the "Old" [sic] Testament.

Genesis 6:8  ~ But Noah found grace in the eyes of YHVH.

Exodus 33:13 ~ Now therefore, I pray thee; if I have found grace in thy sight.

Psalm 84:11 ~ ...For YHVH will give grace and glory....

Zechariah 12:10 ~ And I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace...

Luke 2:40 ~ And the child [Yshua] grew and waxed strong I spirit, filled with wisdom and the grace of Elohim was with Him.

John 1:14, 16 ~ ... the Father full of grace and Truth... And of His fullness have all we received and grace for grace.

We can see from the above verses that there was grace during the "Old" Testament times just as there was grace in the 1st century. There are so many more verses that prove there was grace in the "Old" Testament.

YHVH always did and always will show His grace and favor to people who seek Him.

Now, He has given us His grace to help us obey His Commandments in the "OldER" Covenant. He has also given us His grace when we fail to keep them, and confess breaking them.

When you have a chance, look up grace and Law in a concordance to see how many times grace was shown in the "Old" Testament.

"Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the Only Eloah,

be honor and glory forever and ever. Amein!"

1 Timothy 1:17
