THE NEW COVENANT IS A COVENANT OF GRACE!

This article page will not undo the bold and I can't fix it.

WOW! Are you ready to learn that there is more to the "NEW" Covenant than what you have been taught from the pulpit?  Are you ready to learn that Yshua died for more than our sins? What sins would that be?

This is such a BIG, BIG WHOPPER of a Lie that we really need to pray about it, because it will really rock our belief systems.

You will do one of two things:

1} You will be really excited and want to learn more

2} You will shut your ears to it and refuse to believe it as the Israelites

     did.

Are you ready to ride on the boat

in the storm while it looks like

our Savior is asleep in the boat?

If you are, let's proceed...

We have been taught that the "NEW" Covenant is that Yshua just came to die for our sins so that we can have Eternal Life and go to heaven to be with Him forever. He brought in the Age of Grace, so that we do not have to keep the OLD Commandments anymore.

Let's look at Scripture showing what we have been taught so far.

Luke 22:15-20

And He said to them, With desire I have desired to eat this Pesach {Passover} with you before I suffer. For I say to you, I will not anymore eat of it until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of YHVH. And He took the cup and gave thanks and said, Take this and divide it among YHVH shall come. And He took matzah and said the bracha and broke it and gave it to them saying, This is My body which is given for you. This do in remembrance of Me. Likewise also the cup after supper saying, This cup is the Brit Chadasha in My blood which is shed for you.

The Restoration Scriptures True Name Study Bible Notes {RSTNSB Notes} states: Notice that He wants to, and all is prepared, but He says very clearly that He will not. This assures us that He had a "rabbinical Pesach," traditionally held the night before, as did most rabbis {since He was a rabbi after all}, without actually eating it that year.

When I read this passage of Scripture for the first time and saw that it said Yshua desired to eat the Pesach with His disciples, but didn't, it made me feel so good to know that He desires to have a Pesach meal with all of us.

Have you ever wondered why He held the Pesach Seder the night before the actual Pesach? Because He had to die on the actual Pesach day as our Passover Lamb.

Yet while that is partially true, there is so much more to it than we have been taught. Remember, a half truth, is still a lie.

Let's look at a couple of Scripture references about the "NEW" Covenant:

Hebrews 8:8-10

For finding fault with them, He says, Behold, the days come, says the Master YHVH, when I will make a Brit Chadasha {New or REnewed Covenant, or New Testament} with the House of Israel and with the House of Yahudah {Judah}; not according to the Covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in My brit, and I regarded them not, says the Master YHVH. For this is the brit that I will make with the House of Israel after those days, says the Master YHVH; I will put My Torah into their mind, and write it on their hearts: and I will be their Eloah and they shall be My People.

Hebrews 10:16-17

This is the Covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Master YHVH, I will put my Torot into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; and their sins and Torah-less-ness will I remember no more.

Most English Bibles state "lawlessness." But what lawlessness are they talking about? The Roman Law? No, the writer of Hebrews is talking about YHVH's Torah.... Torah-less-ness.

{RSTNSB Notes} states: "The Torah and First Covenant were not the problem. The problem as clearly stated here was with them. The next verse qualifies the "them." Both houses had faults, causing the need for a new priesthood, a new sacrifice, and a Renewed Covenant. According to this promise quoted from Jeremiah 31:31, there are no gentiles in the Renewed Covenant, as it was cut exclusively with Yisrael's two houses. Those two houses are Jews and Efrayimites, not Jews and gentiles. Of course, non-biological Yisraelites also join as the chaverim/friends of Yisrael {Ezekiel 37:16-17}. Note also that Paul, or Barnabas }the author of Hebrews} in his era also considered Yisrael divided and Efrayim as being still assimilated in the nations. This reference here alone fully and totally refutes any fictitious claims that the two houses reunited 525 years before Paul, or barnabas wrote Hebrews, during the return of Judah from Babylon... The Renewed Covenant is not only designed to bring eternal life and forgiveness to all Yisrael, but also to take the eternal Torah and place it within the hearts of the returning Efrayimites, who will then have the desire to freely obey it. This promise of a subsequent work in Efrayim-Yisrael after salvation in the Renewed Covenant is what we see today. Judah is not mentioned here because they come into the Renewed Covenant with a decent grasp of Torah {though not always living it}, and therefore YHWH focuses in on Efrayim's return to Torah...."

Now let us go to Jeremiah 31:31-33 to find out the verse that Hebrews is quoting:

Jeremiah 31:31-33

See, the days are coming, says YHVH, that I will make a Brit Chadasha-Renewed Brit with the House of Israel and with the House of Yaudah; not according to the brit that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, which brit they broke, although I was a husband to them, says YHVH. But this shall be the brit that I will make with the House of Israel after those days, says YHVH, I will put My Torah in their inward parts, and write it on their hearts; and will be their Elohim and they shall be My people.

RSTNSB Notes states: "The Renewed Covenant was never cut with gentiles, or Christians but exclusively with both houses of Yisrael. This means all believers in the Renewed Covenant are Yisrael from either house, or those who join with either house. If both of Yisrael's houses in fact became Judah, then why does YHWH specify another on-Jewish house by a different name 150 years after Efrayim had already gone into exile? I is this Renewed Covenant that ends the exile as renewal comes to both houses. The Aramaic Peshitta renders this as "basit" when translated into the Hebrew "bachalti" it means, "neglected, or despised" and is an alternative reading. YHWH was both a faithful Husband, as well as one whose covenant was despised and neglected by both houses of Yisrael. Thus both renderings make sense, as in the Hebraic mindset each verse has at least several understandings. Though YHWH was a husband to 4 million people that He personally took out of Egypt and then married at Sinai, only two stayed faithful to covenant. The Renewed covenant is designed to make two houses faithful, not just two people. Both houses come into the REnewed Covenant, but only Efrayim-Yisrael needs a real introduction to Torah. Consequently after the days when the covenant is actually cut, there is an inner working Efrayim out of a supernatural love to guard and perform Torah in their hearts. Judah on the other hand has the supernatural workings of the much-needed Set-Apart Spirit to bring their Torah walk to life. But these inward works are said to be ongoing, and subsequent to the actual spilling of Messiah's blood to cut the covenant."

We see from the above Scriptures that not only did Yshua come to die on the execution stake for our sins, but also so that the Torah would be written on our hearts and minds.

What is the sin that Yshua forgave by dying for our sins?

1 John 3:4 states "Whoever commits sin transgresses also the Torah [Law]. For sin is the transgression of the Torah."

The complete Good News is that He died for our sins and did not do away with His Abba's Torah. Also, He did come for another reason, but that is another article.

Our Savior said in Matthew 5:17-19 that He DID NOT come to do away with The Torah and Prophets, but to bring them to its intended meaning.

The religious leaders had "added to" The Torah rules and regulations that YHVH warned them not to do in Deuteronomy 4:2.

Those were the things that Yshua came to do away with, not His Abba's Torah or the Prophets.

Is heaven and earth still here? Yes? The last time I checked, they are. Then The Torah and The Prophets are still here!

Psalm 111:7b-8 states: all His Commandments are sure. They stand fast forever and are done in truth and righteousness.

Psalm 119:89 states: Forever, O YHVH, Your word is settled in the heavens.

If The Torah was the only written Word at that time, then the Torah is FOREVER! The last thing I checked is that

FOREVER IS FOREVER and

DID NOT STOP AT THE CROSS!

Just as Yshua said that as long as the heavens and the earth are still here, The Torah will still be here.

It was not the Torah itself that YHVH had problems with, because then He would have had problems with His Word. His Torah is pure and is The Truth. He could never do away with The Truth. He is faithful to His Word.

As we can see, the New Covenant or Renewed Covenant is more than just a Covenant of Grace as Grace was also in the Old Testament times.

If He was not faithful to His Word, how could we trust Him to keep His Word and promises to us?

If He can change His mind about The Torah being forever, then He could change His mind about other things also.

How's that for renewing your mind and heart?

As you call upon Yshua because it does seem

that He is sleeping in the boat which is

rocking with the waves and ready to sink,

know that He knows all about what you are going through.

He will calm the storm in your heart and mind

and will bring you safely to land.

"Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the Only Eloah,

be honor and glory forever and ever. Amein!"

1 Timothy 1:17
