I LOVE GOD'S WORD

You say that you love God's Word. Is that really true?

How often do you read and study it? Daily, weekly, monthly, or during the so-called holidays that you celebrate Jesus on?

If you love your Creator as you say you do, you will be studying it daily as the believers in Acts 17:11 did.

"These were more noble than those in Thessalonica in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Holy Scriptures DAILY whether those things were so."

I know I've asked this a few times, but: How often did they search the Scriptures? DAILY!

What Scriptures did they search? The New Testament? NO. They had not been written yet. So they searched the Torah, Prophets and Writings.

Why are we to study the Word?

2 Timothy 2:15 states: "Study to show yourselves before YHVH, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth."

To show ourselves approved to YHVH so that we will not be ashamed at the day of judgment.

RSTNSB Note states: A challenge to all Yisrael to study all of the word and divide it properly, as opposed to manmade divisions like the so-called Old and New Testaments, or such as the dispensation of law versus grace.

Unless you study it daily to show yourself approved unto YHVH, then do you really love the Word?

I will be honest. There are times I have not read the Word for a couple of days because I have so much going on. Then I'm too tired to read it. So I do not love the Word as I should. But, I am trying.

I am a redeemed sinner just like anyone else and do not have it all together. That is why Messiah died for us when we do not keep His Commandments.

I'm grateful He did. Aren't you?

"Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the Only Eloah,

be honor and glory forever and ever. Amein!"

1 Timothy 1:17
