JEWISH BELIEVERS ARE THE ELECT!

Another Lie some of us have been taught is that the Jewish people are the "elect," leaving many to feel as a second class citizen. I know it did me. I was envious because I felt that I was not as important as the Jewish people.

It's not that they are more important, but that we have different roles as Israel than the tribe of Judah does.

But if you read the following Scriptures, you will find out that we are also the elect if we are in Messiah/Christ.

Mark 13:26-27

At that time, men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And He will send His angels and gather His elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.

NIV Note:

See note on Ge 16:7; cf. Rev 14:14-16, gather his elect. In the OT God is spoken of as gathering his scattered people [Dt 30:3-4; Isa 43:6; Jer 32:37; Eze 34:13, 36:24]

Titus 1:1

Sha'ul a servant of YHVH and an apostle of Yshua, the Messiah for the faith of YHVH's elect...

1 Peter 1:2

Elect- by the Ruach.. [Spirit]

Isaiah 45:4

... and Yisrael My elect...

2 Peter 1:10

Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure.

Who was 2 Peter written to?

verse 1... to those who through the righteousness of our Eloah and Savior Yshua, the Messiah have received a faith as precious as ours.

Did Peter say "to the Jews" who through the righteousness of our Eloah and Savior? No, he said, "to those", meaning that "whoever" through the righteousness of our Eloah and Savior.

Then we go back to the 12 tribes of Israel being the elect, not just Judah.

Isaiah 45:4

... and Yisrael My elect...

Yisrael is ALL 12 tribes, not just the tribe of Judah. In case you don't remember them, let's look at Genesis 49:

Reuben

Simeon

Levi

Judah

Zebulon

Issachar

Dan

Gad

Asher

Naphtali

Yoseph

Benyamin

That adds up to 12, not just one!  See Revelation 7:4-10.

Until later....

"Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the Only Eloah,

be honor and glory forever and ever. Amein!"

1 Timothy 1:17
