NO ONE CAN KNOW WHEN YSHUA IS RETURNING!

July 2,012

Sometimes when we talk to people and say that Yshua's return to earth could be soon, they respond saying, "No one can know the day or the hour of His return." I agree with that statement 100%. BUT,

We can know the season when He returns.  There are signs to look for.

A friend of mine, who is her 70s told me yesterday, that Jesus would not return in her lifetime. Well, we shall see, won't we?

We can know by the things that will be happening before He returns. For those who are looking for Him, He will not come back as a Thief in the night.

2 Peter 3:3-4 states "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the Latter Days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation."

Are not people saying that today? That is one of the signs that I believe why we are so close to Yshua's return.

So if you are scoffing that Yshua will return at all or during your life time, then you are a sign that His return is near.

.

1 Thessalonians 5:2-9 states "For you know perfectly that the Day of YHVH comes as a thief in the night... For when they shall  Peace and safety, then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a woman in labor; and they shall not escape... But you, Yisraelite brothers, are not in  darkness, that the day should overtake you as a thief. You are all the children of Light, and the children of the Day. We are not of the night, or of the darkness... Therefore, let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep, sleep in the night; and they that get drunk, get drunk in the night... But let us, who are of the Day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and as a helmet, the hope of life... For YHVH has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain deliverance by our Master Yshua, the Messiah."

If YHVH did not want us to know the season of Yshua's return, He would not have told us to watch and be alert.

The Restoration Scriptures True Name Study Bible Notes {RSTNSB} states: "Deliverance from the hour of testing, not removal from the hour of testing. We will experience His trials, not His wrath, which is poured out fully at His return. See note on John 17:15."

First the Scripture on John 17:15 "I request not that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil." {one}

{RSTNSB} Notes state: "There is no rapture theology here. Yahushua's prayer was for us to be guarded in the truth and in the Name of YHWH, not for us to fly out on a rapture shuttle."

Consider Luke 12:54-56 "And He also said to the people; When you see a cloud rise out of the west, immediately you say, there is a shower coming and so it is. And when you see the south wind blow you say, there will be heat and it comes to pass. You hypocrites, you can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that you do not discern this time?"

If Yshua chastised the religious leaders of His day for not knowing the time of His first coming, how much more does He want His people to know the "season" of His return, so that the things that are coming on the world will not overtake them as a thief catching them unawares.

He told us repeatedly to wake up and be alert. Alert to what? The things that are happening and to know what the Scriptures say will happen before His return, so that we are not deceived and caught off guard. In other words, we are to know the signs of the times! See my article "2,012" for some of the signs towards the end of time right before Yshua's return.

If we do not know what the Scriptures say about the Last Days, then we will be deceived along with the rest of the world, and miss out on what our Creator is doing.

I pray that if you have not been studying the Scriptures for the signs of His return, that you will start doing so.

"Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the Only Eloah,

be honor and glory forever and ever. Amein!"

1 Timothy 1:17
