Another lie we have been told is that there is not a hell.

 

We have all heard someone say or even made jokes ourselves that there is not a hell because hell is here on earth. If there really is a hell, then my friends and I will have a good time drinking beer and partying. Myself, I can't stand beer!

 

Is there really a place called "Hell?" No one wants to believe that there is; because if there is, then a lot of us are in deep trouble and we would have to change our lifestyle and way of thinking. So we joke about it; instead so that we won't think about it. Think about it we will, unless we push it in the back of our minds, ever lurking and wondering, praying its not true.

 

No one in their right mind wants to go there in spite of all our joking about it to alleviate the fear.

 

Let's look at some Scriptures that prove there is a real place called hell or a place of torment.

 

Proverbs 15:24

For the discerning, the path of life leads upward, so that he may avoid going down to Sheol. {very revealing!}

 

Proverbs 27:20

Sheol and Abaddon are never satisfied.

 

Isaiah 5:14

Therefore, Sheol enlarges its throat and opens wide its enormous jaws.

 

Matthew 5:22

But whoever says, "You moron!" will be subject to hell fire.

 

Matthew 25:41, 46

Then He will also say to those on the left, "Depart, from Me, you who are cursed into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels..." And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.

 

Luke 12:5

And I say to you, My friends, do not fear those who can kill the body, and after that, can do nothing more. But I will show you the One to fear: Fear Him, Who has authority to throw people into hell after death. Yes, I say to you, this is the One to fear!

 

 YHVH spoke that verse to me one day when I was fearful about the things coming on the world. 

 

Luke 16:23-31

And in Sheol he {the rich man} lifts up his eyes, being in torment, and saw Avraham far off and El-Azar in his bosom. And he cried and said, Abba Avraham, have mercy on me, and send el-Azar, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

But Avraham said, Son, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and likewise, El-Azar evil things: but now he is comforted, and you are tormented. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that those who would pass from here to you cannot; neither can they pass to us that would come from there.

Then he said, I ask you therefore, Abba Avraham that you would send him to my Abba's house: For I have five brothers; that he may testify to them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

Avraham said to him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

And he said, No, Abba Avraham, but if one went to them from the dead, they will repent.

And he said to him, If they will not listen to Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

 

Revelation 20:13-15

The sea gave up its dead and death and Hades gave up their dead; all were judged according to their works. Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And anyone not found written in the book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.

 

Revelation 21:8

But cowards, unbelievers, vile, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters and all liars shall have their share in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur which is the second death.

 

As we can see from the above Scriptures, there is a hell and a lake of fire, where all those who do not have their name written in the Book of Life will be thrown into. Our Savior talked about hell all the time and warned us about it.

 

Why was hell or the lake of fire created?

 

Matthew 25:41 states: "Then He will also say to those on the left, Depart from Me, Depart from Me, you who are cursed into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels."

 

Can you imagine what it would feel like to hear those words from the very One Who died for you? I cannot even begin to imagine what it will be like for people to hear Him say those words!

 

If YHVH created hell for the devil and his angels because of their rebellion, does He want to send people to hell? No, He grieves over every one who He sends to hell. You may say that is cruel and hateful.

 

But, if they refuse His gift of Eternal Life through accepting His Son Yshua/Jesus as their only way to be saved, then yes, He has no other choice but to send them to hell.

 

He is a holy Creator and cannot be in the presence of sin. So those who do not want Him to be in their lives now, telling them what to do so they think, will spend eternity separated from Him, where there is not any ending to their suffering.

 

I cannot imagine that either. We are on a time zone and to think that it will not end is more than my puny mind can comprehend.

 

Is that not enough reason to avoid hell?

 

I went to a Messianic conference in 2,010 and the speaker kept asking "Would  YHVH want to spend eternity with you?" I had never thought of that before. But if we do not want Him telling us what to do now, then what makes us think that we will want to spend eternity with Him or for Him to spend eternity with us?

 

You may not consciously make the choice to reject your Creator's gift of salvation, but if you do not make any decision at all, you are still making a choice against Him.

 

If you are relying on your good works to get you into heaven, your works are as filthy rags in YHVH's sight.

 

Romans 6:23 states that we all have sinned and come short of the glory of YHVH.

 

Some people believe that even if there is a hell, but that they will cease to exist because their bodies will burn up.

 

Hey! Why worry? Just live and let live, partying all the way to hell for we burn up. We will not exist anymore once we are thrown into hell. Sadly, so they think.

 

But just as we will be changed into a spiritual body that has been resurrected and go to be with our Savior, so will unbelievers have a spiritual body that has been resurrected and will live forever in the Lake of Fire. Their physical bodies will be changed into a spiritual body.

 

"Then shall He say also to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.' "

Matthew 25:41

 

The everlasting fire is prepared for the devil and his angels. But, if you refuse to receive the Gift of Eternal Life through Yshua/Jesus, then Yshua will tell you to depart from Him to the everlasting fire.

 

Do you really want to take the chance of hearing our Savior say that to you? If you do not want to hear Him say that, then, you need to confess your sins and ask for forgiveness of them. Then, obey Him and His Commandments that are written all throughout the Scriptures.

 

To just say a sinner's prayer and then live whatever way you want, maybe going to church on SUNday, but never giving anymore thought to Him during the rest of the week, not studying the Scriptures, will not save you.

 

Our Savior said that if you love Him, you will keep His Commandments. John 14:15. Remember the NT had not been written yet. So His Commandments are the ones in what is called the OT.

 

If we will live forever in our resurrected bodies in the presence of our Creator and His angels, then unbelievers also live forever in their resurrected bodies in the presence of the devil and his angels. Their physical body will put on immortality just as ours will.

 

The only difference between ours and theirs is where we end up after we leave this life.

 

I recently read a web site that said that there is not a literal hell, as how could our tears be wiped away if someone we love, who was a really good person and did so many good things, but never accepted Jesus, went to hell.

 

That is why I believe, which is my opinion, that our Creator will wipe away all memories of our former life here on earth so that we will not remember our loved ones who did not make it into the kingdom of YHVH. That author is right, we could not stand it if we knew that our some of our loved ones did not make it.

 

But our Creator is a righteous, kadosh {holy, set-apart} Creator and cannot let sin into His presence. If someone has not repented of their sins as we are all sinners, they cannot be allowed into His presence.

 

YHVH is not willing that anyone should perish but that everyone would repent and be saved. He wants you to accept His free gift of Eternal Life through His Son Who died for you, so that you do not have to go to hell.

 

But He does not force anyone to accept Him or His Son. The choice is yours to make and I pray that you will make that decision to receive Yshua before it is too late.

 

None of us knows when our last breath will be. We may not even take the next breath. Then it could be years from now, but we can't be sure.

 

Why take that chance?

 

There is more than this physical world. There is a spirit world out there. Make no mistake about that.

 

THERE IS LIFE AFTER DEATH!

Why? Because even though Yshua talked more about hell than He ever did about heaven; and even though He warned us over and over again, about such a horrible eternal place, people still refuse to believe Him.

 

To make matters worse, The American Church now refuses to talk about it. Therefore, 'Please don't Go To Hell' is a compassionate plea for not only the world but for the American Church to wake up before it's too late...

 

Such false objections as 'Universalism', 'Hell is only Temporary', 'Annihilationism', 'Why doesn't God Just Reform People', 'Isn't Eternal Damnation a bit Overkill', 'Hell has no Redeeming Value', 'Hell is Really Life on Earth', 'Only Rotten People Go to Hell', and 'Hell Is Unfair'...

 

And finally, you will observe the wonderful truth that you can just simply 'Say No to Hell'! Why? Because of the amazing love of God. Believe it or not, through Jesus Christ, we can have a Palace in Heaven; instead of a Pit in Hell, a body of Perfection instead of a Body of Pain, and a Heavenly Welcome instead of a Hellish Goodbye.

 

People, Hell is real whether you believe in it or not. It's just as long as heaven is and once you're there, you're not getting out, ever!

 

Please give your life to Jesus today. Don't leave this earth without Him.

Isaiah 26:19,21 states: "But your dead will live; their bodies will rise. you who dwell in the dust, wake up and shout for joy. Your dew is like the dew of the morning; the earth will give birth to her dead... See,  YHVH is coming out of His dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins."

 

Finally, Daniel 12:2 states: "And multitudes of them that sleep in the dust of the world shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt."

 

Yshua confirms this in Matthew 25:46 "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

 

I pray that you also will have the assurance by accepting the free gift of salvation by asking YHVH to save you through His Son.

 

The most loving thing our Creator did was to provide a way out so that we do not have to go to hell.

 

 

The choice is yours.

It's either up or down!
