NO JUDGMENT OF CHRISTIANS

Another lie we have been taught is that God would never judge His people.

The judgment that I believe Peter is talking about here is not for Eternal Salvation, but to chastise His people, just as our earthly fathers do as stated in Hebrews 12. In the sense that if we have truly been born of His Ruach {Spirit}, then He will not judge us as far as our salvation. If we are in Him, we are secure for eternity. The judgment I am talking about is different.

1 Peter 4:17 states:

For the time has come that judgment to begin with the family of YHVH; and if it begins with us, what shall be the end of them that obey not the Besorah {Good News} of Yshua?

Restoration Scriptures True Name Study Bible Notes states:

Great question. If many of the former faithful deny His divinity and His Messianic position, and we are then judged, what about the world? YHWH always cleanses Yisrael first {to obtain clean vessels for His use}, before he tells them to go out and cleanse the world through the message of the Good News.

This verse clearly shows that YHVH begins His judgment with His people! And this is a New Testament verse, not an OLD Testament verse!!

Psalm 94:12 states:

Blessed is the man whom You chasten, O Yah....

Did you notice that the verse said we are blessed if we are chastened by Him? If we are not chastised by Him, then we are not blessed and do not belong to Him....  Why would we not be blessed if He does not chasten us? Because if He does not chastise us, then He will let us go our own way to destruction...

As Hebrews 12 states... no one likes to be chastised... But it is for our good. Hopefully, we will turn and realize that we are on our way to destruction. I can remember that feeling of hopelessness before I gave my life to Him.

As I told a friend of mine that God chastises us and we should be glad that He does not let us get away with things. She was not so sure about that. I will still take His chastisement or correction rather than His wrath.

How about you?
