We tend to think that the land is not affected by what we do. But again, let's see what the Scriptures state.

 

Leviticus 18:25

Even the land was defiled so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.

 

Numbers 35:34

Defile not the land that you shall inhibit in which I dwell; for I YHVH dwell among the children of Israel.

 

Romans 8:22 states "For we know that all of creation groans and travails in pain together until now."

 

How can the land be defiled? Our sins causes it to be defiled, so much so that it is groaning to be freed.

 

This is short as I cannot find much on it right now. But the above verse show that the creation and land is affected by the sins we commit and is waiting for the Son of Elohim to be revealed. Romans 8:19.
